👣 Messy Feet, Happy Hearts! 🎨

This week the children had lots of fun getting creative with a sensory feet painting activity! We rolled out a long sheet of paper on the floor, dipped our toes into washable paint, and walked carefully across the paper to make colourful footprints.

The children loved the tickly feeling of the paint on their feet and watching the different patterns appear as they walked, tip-toed and stomped along the paper. It was a wonderful sensory experience and a great opportunity to talk about colours, patterns and textures.

This activity also helped to develop:

Balance and coordination

Sensory awareness

Creativity and self-expression

Confidence in trying something new

There were lots of giggles, a few wobbles, and plenty of colourful footprints to show for it! 👣🌈

Donations for Our Home Corner & Role Play Area

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are currently refreshing our home corner and role-play area at preschool and would love your support.

If you have any of the following items at home that you no longer need, we would be very grateful for any donations:

• Costume jewellery

• Flat shoes (children’s or adult – safe and suitable for role play)

• Hats

• Glasses (toy or old prescription frames with lenses removed)

• Handbags or small cases

• Scarves or dress-up accessories

These items help to enrich the children’s imaginative play and support their social and communication development.

Please ensure all items are clean and in good condition. You can hand them to a member of staff at drop-off or pick-up.

Thank you so much for your continued support.

Wren Garden Renovation – Temporary Disruption to Drop-Off and Pick-Up

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are very excited to let you know that the Wren garden is undergoing renovation, using some of the funds raised through our recent fundraising activities. This improvement will create a more engaging and stimulating outdoor space for the children to enjoy.

During this time, there may be some temporary disruption to our usual drop-off and pick-up routines while the work is being carried out. We will do our very best to keep any inconvenience to a minimum and will ensure the safety of all children at all times.

We kindly ask for your patience and understanding while these improvements are taking place.

Thank you to
