Sparrows (extended hour sessions – Monday – Wednesday 8am to 9am and 3pm to 5.30pm – term time only)

We should like to make you aware of our extended hours provision which is available to all children attending on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

We offer these non-funded additional hours for those parents who may need a longer day than our normal 9.00-3.00 hours. We continue to offer the Early Years Foundation Stage, with emphasis on physical play, utilising the Primary School playground, fields and, on occasion, PE hall.

We also play board games, carry out craft activities, alongside our usual provision of self-selected resources and activities.

The cost includes a light tea/snack, with items such as jacket potatoes, beans on toast or similar.

The children also get to help make some of their own food, such as mini pizzas.

The menu is published termly. This is a quieter session with a high ratio of staff to children.
