As you are hopefully aware, the Pre-School takes recycling seriously. The children use different bins for different materials during the day and at lunchtime. They also know which food stuffs they can put in the compost bins.

To further develop the children’s understanding of this very important subject, we should like to be able to reduce the packaging included in the children’s lunchboxes. If you are able to reduce the plastic bags or cling film in their lunchboxes, that would really help. Similarly, if they are having a drink in their lunch, a reusable bottle would also help to reduce our waste, as many items cannot be recycled.
