Welcome back to the Autumn term! Where did the summer go? We hope you had a lovely break and we should like to welcome the new families who have joined us from September. There isn’t a section around our activities this week, as the children have been settling back into the routines of the Pre-school and we have focused on them become familiar with the setting and each other. Below is this week’s round-up of news and information.

Suncream

Please remember to apply suncream to your child before they arrive at the setting. We will top-up as necessary during the day. Thank you.

Donation for suncream

We should be grateful for a donation of £5.00 towards supplying suncream for use with your children. This can be transferred via the usual bank account.

Adult Education Courses – focus on autism awareness and building family resilience

Kent Safeguarding Children Multi-Agency Partnership – asthma survey for parents

To help understand how different professionals work with each other to support those who have a child (or are a child) with asthma or allergies, the KSCMP have developed a short survey for parents/carers and young people to complete.

The survey can be accessed by visiting https://forms.office.com/e/eHDnYDpm2E. Attached is the QR code.

The cut off date for the survey is the 20th September 2023.

There is also a QR code (attached) which takes you to the survey.

Term dates until Christmas 2023

The following are the dates the Pre-school will be open to children up until Christmas 2023. We will not be taking any INSET days before Christmas this year (even though the Primary School have one scheduled in October 2023). Our term dates are as follows:

Open to children Monday 4th September – Friday 20th October (inclusive)

Closed week of Monday 23rd October – Friday 27th October (half term)

Open to children Monday 30th October – Friday 15th December (inclusive)

We will let you have the term dates for the spring term around 4 weeks before we break up for the Christmas holidays. Thank you.
