Preschool Adventures – A Walk to See the Poppies!

This week our preschoolers put on their coats for a little adventure! We went for a lovely walk to the church and memorial to see all the beautiful poppies. ❤️

The children were so excited to spot the bright red flowers and talked about what they could see. We chatted about why poppies are special and how people wear them to remember others.

Everyone walked beautifully, used their listening ears, and showed such kindness and curiosity. Some of the children said ‘we put our poppy down for the soldiers’, ‘the men the ladies and the dogs’, one saying ‘we put it on the Morial for the soldiers, they protect us’.  We are so proud of them!
