GOODBYE AND THANK YOU!

Dear Families

It is with a heavy heart that we say a fond farewell to those children making the transition to primary school or other settings. We are really sad that we could not do our usual leavers’ celebrations and that the last few days have meant that many children have been unable to attend the setting.

We are very, very grateful for all the wonderful gifts that have been given to the team.  The best presents of all are your kind words of thanks and appreciation. Working in Early Years is a vocation, not a job. The pay is poor, the funding is poor and the role is challenging but the rewards of being entrusted with the care of your wonderful children are why we continue to do what we do, even in the most difficult circumstances of the past year and a half. So from the whole Pre-school Team a HUGE THANK YOU!

A personal note from Sam and Donna to our lovely team – you are amazing, you continue to smile when you sometimes feel like crying. You clean, you do paperwork, you wear masks and PPE in the heat, you make sure that the children receive the very best care and education. You are inspiring so THANK YOU.
